Hence, in terms of history too, this is an important temple, claiming to be the oldest of its kind in the entire Bankura District. The temple is located in the Onda region of Bankura and is about 20 kilometers from the main town. This is located at the other end of the district and is having a connection more with Bardhaman than with Purulia or Hugli. Damodar river is at close proximity to the temple and one can visit the ghats nearby too. To reach the place, bus service is there to Onda from Bankura man town.
