Satabdi Park is an important tourist place at Asansol. The park is developed and maintained by the Indian Railways. Satabdi Park has a children's play area and walk-trails surrounded by lush green well maintained lawns and flowering plants. It has several amusement rides like the Columbus, caterpillar and see-saw. There are boat services as well, which includes paddle boat and rowing boat. There are canteens and stalls selling snacks and other refreshments. Satabdi Park remains open in the evenings and mornings and is good place to spend the evenings with family, kids and friends. Children will especially enjoy their visit. The best season to come here is from September to March. The temperature remains comfortable during this time and is suitable for sightseeing. It is very easy to reach Asansol as it is well connected by means of road and rail. Hired cars, auto rickshaws and cycle rickshaws are available to the park from the railway station, which is just 2 kilometres away from it.
