Rajrappa Waterfall
Rajrappa waterfalls occurs at the confluence of River Bhairavi and river Damodar. The river Bhairavi drops from a height of 30 feet to meet the River Damodar flowing underneath. This waterfall made by River Bhairavi while joining the Damodar river from the upper Ranchi plateau is named as Rajrappa falls. It presents an example of hanging valley. This two storey valley is considered to be of much geographic importance. By road: Rajrappa can be easily accessed via road since it is located on National Highway 23 running between Chas and Ramgarh. The distance between Rajrappa falls and some of the major cities are listed below: Ramgarh-28 Km, Hazaribagh-65 Km, Ranchi-118 Km, Bokaro Steel City-60 Km. There are regular bus services from Ranchi, Hajari Bagh, Banka and Dhanbad to the falls. If you are travelling from Ranchi, it might take about 2.36 hours for you to drive till the falls. If you are travelling from Ramgarh cantonment, it might take roughly 1.54 hours for you to reach the falls. By rail: The closest railway station is at Ranchi. By air: The nearest airport is at Rane.
