Humayun's Tomb

Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's son Akbar in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect chosen by Bega Begum.

Sher Shah Suri Tomb

The tomb of Sher Shah Suri is in the Sasaram town of Bihar state, India. The tomb was built in memory of Emperor Sher Shah Suri, a Pathan from Bihar who defeated the Mughal Empire and founded the Suri Empire in northern India.

Alluri Sitarama Raju Tomb

Alluri Sitarama Raju was an Indian revolutionary involved in the Indian independence movement. After the passing of the 1882 Madras Forest Act, its restrictions on the free movement of tribal peoples in the forest prevented them from engaging in their traditional podu agricultural system, which involved shifting cultivation.

Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned 1628–1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Tomb

Sheikh Noor ud-Din Tomb popularly as Sheikh ul-Alam among the Muslim and as Sahajanand and among the Hindus, was a Kashmiri mystic regarded as the patron saint of Kashmiris.

Isa Khans Tomb

Isa Khans tomb was built during his lifetime. It is situated near the site of the Mughal Emperor Humayuns Tomb complex in Delhi which was built later. This octagonal tomb has distinct ornamentation in the form of canopies, glazed tiles and lattice screens, and a deep veranda surrounding it, which is supported by pillars. It stands to the south of the Bu Halima garden at the entrance of the complex. Isa Khans garden tomb is considered the earliest example of an Indian sunken garden attached to a tomb.

Akbars Tomb

Akbar's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal emperor, Akbar and an important Mughal architectural masterpiece. It was built in 1605–1613 and is situated in 119 acres of grounds in Sikandra, a suburb of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Tomb of Zain-ul-Abidin's Mother

Tomb of Zain-ul-Abidins Mother lies on the banks of the Jhelum River. This is another monument in Srinagars old city but is unlike most others, being a royal tomb instead of a mosque or shrine.

Tomb of Sher Afghan

Sher Afghan Khan who was the tuyuldar of Bardhaman amid Mughal Emperor Jahangirs manage was blamed for having schemed with Afghans against the lord. His tomb is a standout amongst the most well known sights in Bardhaman.
