Humayun's Tomb

Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's son Akbar in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect chosen by Bega Begum.

Sher Shah Suri Tomb

The tomb of Sher Shah Suri is in the Sasaram town of Bihar state, India. The tomb was built in memory of Emperor Sher Shah Suri, a Pathan from Bihar who defeated the Mughal Empire and founded the Suri Empire in northern India.

Tomb of Susanna Anna Maria

Tomb of Susanna Anna Maria, a monument from the dutch era that resembles a temple and locally called the Dutch Mandir. The memorial of Susana Anna Maria is located at Kaeipara, Dharampur more popularly know now as Taldanga – KhadinaMore and can be seen along the G.T. Road between Chinsurah and Chandernagore, West Bengal. While Chinsurah was a Dutch settlement, the neighbouring Chandannagore was a French colony in the past before the Britishers came in here and took over this flourishing trade belt along the river Hooghly.

Alluri Sitarama Raju Tomb

Alluri Sitarama Raju was an Indian revolutionary involved in the Indian independence movement. After the passing of the 1882 Madras Forest Act, its restrictions on the free movement of tribal peoples in the forest prevented them from engaging in their traditional podu agricultural system, which involved shifting cultivation.

Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned 1628–1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Isa Khans Tomb

Isa Khans tomb was built during his lifetime. It is situated near the site of the Mughal Emperor Humayuns Tomb complex in Delhi which was built later. This octagonal tomb has distinct ornamentation in the form of canopies, glazed tiles and lattice screens, and a deep veranda surrounding it, which is supported by pillars. It stands to the south of the Bu Halima garden at the entrance of the complex. Isa Khans garden tomb is considered the earliest example of an Indian sunken garden attached to a tomb.

Akbars Tomb

Akbar's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal emperor, Akbar and an important Mughal architectural masterpiece. It was built in 1605–1613 and is situated in 119 acres of grounds in Sikandra, a suburb of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The tomb of Fateh Jung is a five-storeyed monument. It is also known as Fateh Jung Gumbad and is located near the railway station in Alwar. It is an imposing structure that is visible from far away. Fateh Jung was a Pathan warrior and was related to the Khanzada rulers of Alwar. His tomb is an artistic marvel and is a blend of different styles of architecture. It is dominated by an enormous dome, and the minarets exemplify its beauty.
