Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park

Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is a national park of India near Wandoor on the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Buddha Park of Ravangla

The Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, is situated near Rabong (Ravangla) in South Sikkim district, Sikkim, India. It was constructed between 2006 and 2013 and features a 130-foot high statue of the Buddha as its centerpiece. The site was chosen within the larger religious complex of the Rabong Gompa (Monastery), itself a centuries-old place of pilgrimage. Also nearby is Ralang Monastery, a key monastery in Tibetan Buddhism.

Verinag Spring

Verinag spring which is in Verinag town, issues from a high scarp of a mountain spur, and is considered the source of the Jhelum river. It is situated at the bottom of a hill covered by pine trees and evergreen plants.

Manali Nature Park

Manali Nature Park will bring tourists a step closer towards nature. Encircled by large groves of Deodar trees, the wildlife reserve is set on the bank of river Beas and is a pristine nature park.

Dhyana Buddha Park

The Dhyana Buddha statue is a statue of a Buddha in Amaravathi, India. The Dhyana Buddha statue of 125 ft is located at Amaravati. It is situated on the banks of Krishna river in 4.5 acres with eight pillars on a Lotus pandal.

Millennium Park

Millennium Park is a private park in Kolkata, situated along the Strand Road on eastern shore of Hooghly River for a stretch of 2.5 km near Fairlie Ghat and opposite to Railway Club. The park consists of landscaped gardens and children's amusement rides. It was opened along the riverside to provide a green area for Kolkatas polluted waterway.

Salt Lake Central Park

Central Park situated in Bidhannagar is a public urban park. It is also known as Banabitan. It is the second largest open space in the city of Kolkata after the Maidan. It is a favorite hangout for lovers. This park is easily reachable from the Karunamoyee bus stand in Salt Lake – the Central Park Kolkata Metro station is projected to work in 2015. On the roads surrounding the park are the buildings where the West Bengal government has relocated many government departments.

Shrubbery Nightingale Park

About 10 minutes walk from the Mall, the Shrubbery Nightingale Park in Darjeeling is a beautiful public park area. Its ideal for relaxing and enjoying the superb views of the Kanchenjunga and the other snow peaks of Eastern Himalayas. During the tourist season, Nepali cultural programs like local dances are held here everyday in the evening. During the British days in early 1900s, this place was known as The Shrubbery. It used to be the private courtyard of Sir Thomas Tartans Bungalow.

City Park Bokaro

One giant artificial lake and three artificial island along with amazing greenery is what constitutes the City Park of Bokaro.

Nakshatra Van

Nakshatra Van is a park created by the Jharkhand Forest Department in front of the residence of the governor of Jharkhand in Ranchi, the capital of the Indian state of Jharkhand. The park was opened after a colourful programme on the occasion of Van Mahotsav in 2004. The park was inaugurated by Governor M. Rama Jois and many other dignitaries.

Mount Harriet National Park

Mount Harriet National Park is a national park located in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands union territory of India. The park, established in 1969, covers about 4.62 km2 (18.00 mi2). Mount Harriet (383 metres (1,257 ft)), which is part of the park, is the third-highest peak in the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago next to Saddle Peak (732 metres (2,402 ft)) in North Andaman and Mount Thullier (568 metres (1,864 ft)) in Great Nicobar.

Kailasagiri is a hilltop park in the city of Visakhapatnam. The park was developed by Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) comprising 380 acres (150 ha) of land covered with flora and tropical trees. The hill, at 360 feet (110 m), overlooks beaches, forests, and the city of Visakhapatnam.

Shalimar Bagh

Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden in Srinagar, linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake, on its right bank located on the outskirts of Srinagar city in Jammu and Kashmir. Its other names are Shalimar Garden, Shalimar Bagh, Farah Baksh and Faiz Baksh, and the other famous shore line garden in the vicinity is Nishat Bagh.

Oxygen Park

In a bid to provide clean and fresh air to the residents of state capital, Ranchi Municipal Corporation opened an oxygen park in Morhabadi ground. The first of its kind park will have effect of forest. Majority of the planted trees will be indigenous ones like neem and peepal, while the remaining area in the park will have flowering shrubs. Those which can release high amount of oxygen will be preferred.

Birsa Munda Park

Birsa Munda Park is the only park in Dhanbad and it is counted among the attractive placesnearby which attracts people from all age groups. It has walkway, leisure area, play area, toy train, various rides for children, canteen and plants of different species spread over 21 acres of land. It was opened in the month of November 2009. It has not only provided growth to the place but it has also created employment for the people along with recreational facilities.

Sidhu Kanhu Park

Satabdi Park

Satabdi Park is an important tourist place at Asansol. The park is developed and maintained by the Indian Railways. Eluru Buddha Park

A magnificent 74 feet Buddha statue was constructed in the middle of the pond named Gajjalavari Cheruvu and a painting gallery was also created to spread the Buddhas teachings. The pedestal is decorated with famous Amaravathi sculptures along the railings of the foot bridge up to the statue.

Tenneti Park

Tenneti Park also known as Vuda Tenneti Park is an Urban park in the city of Visakhapatnam, India. Situated on the Beach Road in Jodugullapalem, it the first children’s park, and one of the oldest parks in the city.

Nishat Bagh

Sir Dorabji Tata Park

Sir Dorabji Tata Park was built by Tata Steel and dedicated to Russi Modi so this park was earlier called Modi Park. Later it was named after Sir Dorabji Tata, son of Jamshedji Tata and a massive statue of Sir Dorabji Tata was installed in the park. The park boasts of well-maintained gardens, brilliant water fountains and gorgeous flower beds.

Gangamaya Park

The Rock Garden also known as Barbotey Rock Garden at Chunnu Summer Falls and Ganga Maya Park are recently added tourist attractions in the hilly town of Darjeeling in the state of West Bengal, India. Ganga Maya Park is further down the road, about 3 kilometres from the Rock Garden.

Nehru Park Burnpur

Nehru Park is located on the banks of the Damodar River at Burnpur, a neighbourhood in Asansol in the Indian state of West Bengal. The park was developed on the banks of the Damodar, retaining the undulating terrain of the area. A small stream flows through the park. The slopes have been utilised to develop gardens and walkways. A musical fountain has been added and is operated on weekends and Thursdays. There is a restaurant in the park and picnic spots are earmarked.


VUDA Park is an urban park located near Ramakrishna Mission Beach in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. The park is named after the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at the time of its establishment, N T Rama Rao. It is operated by the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority - VUDA.
